Cryogenic free cryostats

Designed for diverse optical and non-optical measurements, the PT Top Loader and GM Top Loader cryostats feature top-loading designs, enabling rapid sample exchanges without warming the entire system. The Dry Micro cryostat, known for its compact size and versatility, incorporates a built-in liquefier for continuous helium recondensation, operating from approximately 5 K to 500 K. For experiments requiring extremely low temperatures, the Dry 1 K Top Loader provides sample changes without disrupting the closed cycle system and supports superconducting magnets and optical access, reaching temperatures as low as 1.5 K. Each cryostat is fully customizable to meet individual user requirements, ensuring optimal performance across a variety of applications.

Bath Cryostats

Cryovac bath cryostats are a range of high-performance cryostats designed for ultra-low vibration and precise measurements. The UHV (SPM) Bath Cryostat, with its ultra-low helium loss and nitrogen shield, is ideal for STM, TEM, and AFM applications requiring atomic resolution. Similarly, the UHV (STM) Magnet Cryostat features a UHV bore superconducting magnet and optional 1 K pot or JT stage, ensuring versatility for various UHV conditions. Both systems include nitrogen shields and vapor-cooled radiation shields for enhanced performance. Each cryostat can be customized to meet specific user requirements, providing optimal solutions for advanced scientific research.

Konti Cryostats

The Konti line of cryostats offers a range of versatile and high-performance cryostats designed for diverse scientific applications. The Konti Spectro A and Konti Spectro cryostats feature continuous flow heat exchangers for compact and efficient operation in both optical and non-optical setups. The Konti Micro Magnet provides up to 9 T magnetic field capabilities with a dry, always-cooled superconducting magnet, ideal for precise measurements. Additionally, the Konti Micro cryostat stands out as a robust solution with a broad temperature range from approximately 3.0 K to 650 K, offering low thermal drift and ultra-low vibrations for reliable performance in optical laboratories worldwide.

Konti Spectro IT Cryostat

The Konti Spectro IT is a bath cryostat with a top loading exchange gas cooled variable temperature insert that can be used in various optical and non-optical setups. The built-in variable temperature insert is supplied with either LHe or LN2 via a build in needle valve. The system operates in continuous and single shot modes, with the sample either in exchange gas or a vacuum.

UHV (STM) JT Cryostat

The UHV (STM) JT (Joule Thomson) Cryostat is a JT stage (< 1 K) mounted on an ultra-low loss helium bath cryostat with a nitrogen shield and two vapor cooled radiation shields for added performance. The system was initially conceptualized for STM, TEM and AFM measurements, whereby ultra-low vibrations are required for atomic resolution. The JT stage allows the system to work down to 450 mK (3He) or 1.0 K (4He), with little to no additional helium consumption. With its high performance and compact design, this system is a staple of the SPM community. As with all our systems, the UHV JT Cryostats can be modified to best suit your individual needs.
